What is the best time to plant raspberries?

Fall is a good time, also early spring.

I have raspberries ordered to arrive at the beginning of November. Where you are, that might be a bit late.

Thanks for the reply. I live in zone 5a, we have not had a frost yet. The plants are still giving me raspberries. Do you use mulch on raspberries?

I consider raspberries pretty hard to kill, so I just leave them be. Of course it's colder where you are, so I can't say.

Gary, I have seen that mulch is recommended for raspberries as it helps keep the weeds down while they are establishing. I mulch mine.
