I was watering outside under the trees and found this plant covered in ready to be blooms and one open bloom. It is so fragrant. Don't look at some of the leaves as cinnamonfolia is mixed in the basket. Could someone tell me what kind of hoya this is? Thank you
I have my second very fragrant hoya?
It looks like an australis! Hopefully someone will come along and be a little more specific!
Very pretty!
........I get so mixed up. Thanks.
thanks
Yup...H. australis
You all are so nice to those of us who SHOULD know the names by now but have difficulty...........thanks to all of you.............you, most of all, Carol...............
It is pure heaven , Lin. I had no idea what mine was. Your leaf looks just like my leaves so get ready for the show!!!!!!!!!
Some growers pooh pooh H. australis as being 'so common, dahling'... it is one of my very favorites because it blooms well, the leaves are great, it is VERY forgiving and smells devine!!!
LOL, I guess with plants it's like anything else, huh? One man's trash is another's treasure! All of my plants, hoyas, orchids as well as every other house plant on my deck are common varieties you can find at the big box garden centers but I love them all, a few a little more than others I must admit, but I just love planting something and watching it grow. Oh, and of course if it has beautiful blooms and fragrance that's just a huge bonus! ^_^
Ditto to both of you. I don't care if the plant is common or exclusive, if it has blooms I love it! And, like Lin, if it has a fragrance, that is just the cat's meow!
I am a compulsive planter of seeds!!!!and watching them grow!
I am just a compulsive propagator of all gesneriads and any plant I can find outside..............I just planted up 3 trays from seeds of sinningia speciosa hybrids.........that is my routine everyday.........working the laundry in as I take more cuttings, etc.......
