This is my first year with brugs and yippeee! Lookie at what I've got! :-D
While I'm reveling in the beauty (and the smell!) I've got to be thinking about where they're going to go in a few weeks. I am flat out of room in the "live plant" area so I'm going to have to attempt dormancy. Can any of you northern gardeners give me any tips? Primarily I need to know just how cold I can go, then of course light and water requirements. I've done a little digging for info, but it's always reassuring to hear from someone with experience.
Thanks!

Mine go into the basement and are kept at about 50 to 50 degrees, no light and watered about once a month. They do fine. I have only lost one in 5 years. This year already have 36 down there and another 24 to go. I do have a few more I will be keeping under lights to get more growth on them or because they have seed pods growing on them.
Thanks so much theraglady. The no light and little water part is a big help...now I'm only wondering if I can go any cooler. I have a spare bedroom that I don't heat (which probably stays about 30°) and it would be great if I could stash them in there for the season. But I shall find a spot somewhere!
Thanks again.

I kept my brugs in a garage that was no less than about 35 degrees at the coldest. They did very well out there.
