I just had the worst asthma attack while deadheading marigolds and mexican sunflowers...there were other plants I came in contact with...but I handled over 100 marigold buds and slimy ones too. Has anyone else ever experienced this? This is the first year I have ever planted marigolds (36 plants). Could I have handled so many something penetrated through my skin?
