scaly leg mites!

i no im supposed to use petrolium jelly, but almost all my adult chickens have the mites! is there a different way i can treat them without having to catch every single one of them? i heard of some medication but i fogot what it was called.

i use adams flea and tick spray in a blue bottle. ya mist 2 squirts under each wing and 2 in the vent area and top of bedding. it kills lice and mites and such instantly and proteccts for 3mths.

seven dust works also but it kills in about 2 days and is a strong pesticide, i can't use that cuz i'm highly alergic to it with skin contact but DH uses it when he does it with dust masks. ya do the same thing and sprinkle bedding/runs it's just a powder version but kills loads of things.

Red Coat works well to! Ask your local grain store for it.
