I saw a bird yesterday I never saw around here before, of course he flew off before I could grab my camera.
Looked exactly like this-

Does anyone know if there is another bird that looks like it? If not, I guess I can assume it was a worm eating warbler.
Is there another bird that looks similiar???
Worm-eating Warbler breeds in NJ, but they leave the breeding grounds quite early (mid August, according to New World Warblers), so it is decidedly unlikely this late in the year.

Maybe a it was a nuthatch you saw? Where/what was it doing when you saw it?
It was hanging out by itself on the tippy top of one of my arborvitaes. It was def more brown with the yellow chest.
Maybe one of the sparrows?
Top of a tree is also wrong for Worm-eating Warbler, they live low down in dense undergrowth.
