Stranded Commuters

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Our friend Tils is facing long tedious waits during her commute for the next two weeks. The Ferries have gone haywire, and there is only one running right now. So I thought maybe we could start a thread to keep her entertained during the wait time - she has her laptop with her in the car.

This is my first offering - a friend sent it to me and I am passing it on to all the doggie lovers on this board. And toward the bottom is one for the CATS (shsssssh, not too loud, the terrier will set off....) Hope all of you enjoy it, but this is particularly for Tils and all the others caught in the jam.

Tils, that is very funny!! And great news about the ferries - maybe they couldn't face all of the terrible jokes that were going to be posted. Like:

How many ferries does it take to change a light bulb?

We won't know until they start working.

Hey, this is easy!!

LOL - almost sorry the ferries are both running again . . . this could have been very amusing! (Notice I said "almost," Mary!)

Hey Keep it coming, we could have fun with this tread. LOL

They put the Hyak in place of the Walla Walla, The Hyak is much smaller. This would be the only time I would ever say, glad summer is over, during peak times then with 2 bigs boats was bad enough. Do not want to know how it would of been this way. Nightmare !!!!!

" How many new ferry travelers would it take the change a light blub?

They would have to figure out to get on frist

I did like the electron inconveniencing! Really made me laugh.

when I first read it I, I wasn't to sure to laugh or get indignant over it. I got 3 E-mails from them (others who read mine) Only one had that on it, makes ya wonder if someone was a little stressed out, and how many people sent in e-mails.

Was funny
