Spyware Terminator + ClamAV

I was reading a review in a magazine [Smart Computing Oct. 2007] on Spyware Terminator and this sounded interesting...

so i installed it and found there is an antivirus program included called ClamAV [i believe it's one of those open source ones]

I did go on line and read some reviews on it also, and sounds promising .... I'm still contemplating removing Nortons when it runs out in a few weeks. [i'm a Norton's user for about 11 yrs now]

I have McAfee on 2 laptops, and have gotten malicious 'things' on both ... so i'm ditching it, and have this new Spyware Terminator on the one laptop now....

has anyone heard anything about these?

pros and cons .... any info would be appreciated.
