It's great that such a massive effort was undertaken to help these penguins, but it's disturbing that no one (who ought to) seems to know why so many of them were stranded. I read about speculation that global warming may be a culprit here, too; something to do with changing currents.
So, I dunno. I feel quite fearful. Sorry for being a downer. :(
