I don't understand people.

Went with my son tonight to get his hair cut and one of the stylists was talking about how she needed to get another dog since hers had passed. I said "yeah, me too" but I've been having such a hard time finding one and getting one from the adoption centers after having to fill out 8 pg applications, home inspection(had great dane rescue out on Sat at our house) large % won't adopt to you if you have kids under 6..... etc. She was like "what???" The stylist that was cutting my sons hair said "oh yeah we had to go thru a home inspection to get our dog". Again, she was like "what???" I'm like yeah it's crazy. She's like "well why don't you just go buy one?" So I said"you mean like from a pet store?" She goes "Yeah". I said "I would never do that, the puppies come from puppy mills". So she says "Oh, ok but if I really wanted one I'd just buy it"
