Are these orioles? If so, can you tell what kind? There were three of them.

One of them seemed to have a very dark chin.

Yep, orioles. Tough call on which with all that foliage half-hiding them, but I'd say probably all Baltimore Orioles, given the fairly large bills (small bills would have suggested Orchard Orioles). Dark throat makes a male; that applies to both species.
