I've been having trouble with impatience indoors, they all died on me (I had Jungle gold, cockatoo, and fusion glow). They all started wilting so I read up on lighting. Alot of sources say to move them in shade, so I did and they wilted even more. I got frustrated and just potted the jungle gold and fusion glow outside, and they've started to grow small leaves. As for the cockatoo, I left it unpotted and was going to throw it out but lo and behold, new growth started coming up.
Is it because of the type of soil I used? Perhaps my soil from before was too heavy?

Help: Care of Congo Impatience
Could be or an overwatering issue maybe?
I start new cuttings of each in the fall to overwinter, the parent plants don't move well even into a greenhouse situation. The cuttings adapt better for me.

I'm no help here, just wanted to tell you you are not alone! The beginning part of the summer I had to water mine every day, they would droop horribly otherwise. Then suddenly they all started looking bad and died. Moving them into the shade didn't help.
I don't know that I'd try these again, but I hope some has an answer for you so I can learn, too!
