Shilo arrived a couple of hours ago after a 3 hour car ride . He is l year old this week. I think he is a bit skinny for a pup- he weighed 21 pounds in April. I'll get an up to date weight on Tuesday at the vets. He is rather shy and submissive and Im told he is very noise sensitive. So far he has been carefully checking out the house and following me around. He's been sniffing at my two Shelties but backs off when they tell him - he is curious about the cats but cautious. I think he probably has not been well socialised plus he has been allowed to retreat to his crate when anything bothers him.
Dont have a whole lot of info on him yet.
One thing we do know - the family had an unspayed BC and Shilo is also not neutered. Guess what happened? Last week a litter of 4 pups arrived -they didnt even know she was pregnant!

He is quite tall - 17- inches at least I think. He has been fed a combination of Arcana and Kibbles and Bits (!) Supposedly he was getting 4 cups of this mix a day but from the look of him I suspect the other dogs in the house were consuming a lot of it! Well we will get that sorted out - I dont have much experience with pups so not sure how much he should be eating. oFor now I think I will just let him eat as much as he wants!
