Good morning, everyone. It is crisp and cool here with a gentle breeze that is barely detectable from looking at the plant life in the yarden. But when you step outside you notice it right away.
There is a woman over on another thread who just had lapband surgery yesterday. I pray she will join us on this thread. Susan has become friends with her so maybe she can influence her.
I have lots of new plants to get repotted or just potted as well as planted in the ground. Some from RU and some Siberian iris and Crocosmia from Joann. I'll put some peat moss arount the Crocosmia bulbs. One of the RU plants is a varagated leaf Brug that already has bloom buds about ready to open. I think they are suppose to be a peach color. Our cool nights and warm days are what they need to produce blooms.
Eating has been fair. I was so hungry for a nice tomato and onion sandwich that I bought a loaf of Baker's Inn 7 Grain bread this week. I had that sandwich plus a few others that were ok on my diet but I'm eating way too much bread now. I just had p. butter and toast for breakfast again. I like those bread but the slices are too large. I wish they would just make them in the reg. loaf size. I have cut some of them in half and need to do that more often.
Brenda,Faith, Kevin, and Audry got here late last night. We got to bed about 11:30 or midnight. Only Kevin and I are up at this time. I hear Brenda say they needed to get up by 8:30. She has been having trouble sleeping so I'll let her sleep as long as possible. They want to look at the houses her SIL has picked out by noon and come back to rest for a while. I think movies are planned for the evening. I won't go but I think all of them will. Movies aren't something I enjoy so why waste my money?
I got a large reduced sugar apple crisp made last night. They brought me chicken alfredo from Pizza Hut and some bread sticks. the alfredo was good. I usually don't care that much for it but this was loaded with chunks of chicken. I took a Phase 2 to help counteract the carbs in all that.
I hope the weed eater will start for me today. Kyle had to start it for me the other day. That is so frustrating. Plus having to carry the heavy thing down to their place and back up here. Right now it is that weedeater of pull the grasses out by hand. Or dig them out which would be more permenant is they are perennials which I'm not sure of. I know there are millions of seeds on the ground already. I'll probably vaccum them up again this year.
Joann, I pray the market adventure goes well today. I'll be thinking of you often thruout the day.
Skyler is doing fine as far as I know. I'll see him today and find out for sure. I heard him outside playing when I got home yesterday. He was fine on Thursday.
I got more Tupperware ice pop forms at the store yesterday. Brenda took one of the 2 sets in the bag for one of the other daughters. I didn't realize there were 2 sets in there. I just thought there was one tray and extra icepop contaiers and 'sticks'. This will still leave me with 2 sets. That will let me have both smoothie and coolaid type ice pops in the freezer for variety. Those sets are so expensive now. Brenda looked them up when she had a party recently. $20!!! for a tray that holds 6 icepop forms.
I hope to talk to each of you later today and hear from you soon. I know weekends are busy times so things are slow on weekends. And sometimes I have a terrible time getting DG to load or be able to move between forums & threads.
Well, they are up so I need to get going. GOD bless and keep each of you.
