Twix Chocolate Bar recipe

Hi =). For you chocolate lovers out there, have any of you guys tried making twix chocolate bar at home? I found a recipe that calls for a shortbread cookie as a base and uses caramel squares. And it's the same for all sources (similar recipe).

I strangle anybody who has taken my share of the twix, this is how much I love them >=). I don't eat snickers, mars or m and m's or other common chocolate bars, just these lol and maybe kitkat from time to time....
