I just jumped in too. Now that things are slowing down I've been looking at some of the other forums and found I should have introed myself first. I'm Pam and live in NE Texas. I have been a gardener for years but just started seed harvesting a couple of years ago when I aquired a Cleome and Datura that had such obvious seed pods. I had such success with the seeds that I'm now the neighborhood pest, not only collecting from my plants but all the neighbor's too. I'm married with two grown children. Besides gardening, I have two European Burmese cats that I show ocassionally. I teach the high school class at an Adaptive Behavior Unit for emotionally disturbed children. My students are almost as excited as I am about my trading. This spring we plan to plant some of my seed, esp. from other countries, and they will be able to take the plants home to plant in their gardens. Last year we planted some of my seeds and they all came back to school telling me what their plants had done over the summer.
Well, this is probably more than you wanted to know so I'll close. Thanks to all the nice people I've already traded with and also for my trade partners to come.
I guess I'm like everyone else.
Wavin' - are you the Catlady I know from before? Either way - welcome!
CindyB sounds familar but checked my trade list and you weren't on there. Perhaps we will trade in the future. Thanks for the welcome.

Howdy Catlady from one Texan to another!I'm also glad you jumped right in you're gonna love it here in the garden.

Thanks for the Welcomes DG Gang. I do feel right at home. Everyone has been so nice and I've made lots of trades for some really wonder seeds. It's been interesting to see what people from different parts of the country want. What is so common to us, may be a treasure to those who live in a different part of the country or world. (Know what I mean Texaslily?) Happy gardening to all.
Hi Pam, I didn't realize it was you. But guess my brain was slow at 3:30 this morning. I couldn't sleep, I've been having insomnia. I mailed your seed's to you this past Wednesday, hope next spring you have a bunch of flowers from them! If you need anymore information on them just let me know. How right you are, what some call weeds are beautiful plants to others. Oh wow you show cats, I've been trying to trade NJ Cher 4 I've got for her Parrot Babe and her gourmet chef. I'll check your trade list just in case this trade falls through. Would you be interested in 4 most the time well behaved furry friends? Now their not fancy, just kitty cats but just think you could have an even 1/2 dozen! Your gonna love it here in DG, the Best online gardening site there is # 1 for sure!! Look forward to seeing you around the garden.JJ about the cat's, You couldn't get me to part with a single one, I'm their
Mommy but they sure own me!! lol
