Coronodo is where I first noticed and fell in love with the draco's. The trees there by the hotel Del are amazing. I wonder how old it is. Is there any way to tell?

TLeaves- I just so happen to be living in Coronado right now and happened by this very tree about 2 weeks ago. This tree is on the southern side of the Hotel Del Coronado, and there is a plaque that talks about the tree in front of it. If memory serves, according to the plaque I want to say it is a little over 100 years old. Its one of the neatest looking trees I've ever seen- it appears you live in San Diego, you should make the trip over the bridge, grab a bite in Coronado and then go visit this old sucker!

Thanks bevoreno. 100 years old is amazing. I had no idea. I see now that these are trees we plant for future generations. It's worth it. I usually get down to Coronodo a few times a year. I'll look for the plaque next time.

TLeaves- upon further inspection of the above picture you can see the plaque in front of the tree. Try so see this tree at night if you can, they have lighting inside the tree up high and it looks amazing! Have fun.
