Ilive in central Alabama. Someone told me yesterday if I don't take my hummer feeders down that the hummers won't leave for thewinter ans end up freezing to death.

Hi jo, Thats not true at all. Keeping feeders up will not stop hummingbirds from migrating.
Leave them up as long as you normally do. Pelle
