Window boxes for all the windows

Finally got the brackets, stained the boxes and hung them. Ready for next year. They are made from cedar.

Very nice complement to your lovely home and garden, Joanne! Do you use some kind of extension hose to water them?

I can just reach them with my watering wand. Next to impossible from inside the house because the windows are the old type that all need to be removed before the screen can come out.

Just curious..
why are there four brackets under the left window box in the back..and only two under the center one?
I have always dreamed of having window boxes under my two front bedroom windows...and trying to get some ideas.

The boxes are cedar, stained blue. They are fairly heavy, especially wet, so the longer boxes have more brackets
