No blooms

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

I have no blooms on my privet cassia. My first predicted frost date is Nov.15th. Will it still have time to bloom and set seed?

I see sulpur butterflies all over my yard but no sulphur cats on cassia. I'm wondering if it's because there's no blooms to attrack the sulpur butterflies.

Good question bigred. I don't have the answer but have one planted also to attract the sulphurs. Mine are blooming though and if that will help attract them I am thrilled. Hope someone answers your question.

Hope so. No one will answer my hornworm question either. Maybe everyone is out watching butterflies.

I would help but I'm a Floridian and don't understand this concept of "frost date", LOL!

Don't rub it in.....LOL Actualy,I'm looking forward to winter this year.

I look forward to winter every year. It gets so hot here and our summers last about four months, we have a four month fall and a one month winter. So I really do enjoy that one month of winter. I need some cold air every once in awhile. But that was pretty funny Melanie.

I'm a zone higher than you and I have at least 2 months of winter....waz up with dat?...LOL

I say NOW,I'm ready for winter but come mid-late Dec. and I'll be going nuts stuck in the house.
