Thanks for the lovely wishes, y'all:-) I had a super day...planted cool stuff outside in the morning, then went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch (groan) and spent the evening at a marching band competition with DH and our daughter...only now she's just watching her friends and not marching herself. Really fun, but it rained bigtime. I had forgotten how those things can be, lol! See, Chele...the hose can be reversed now;)

I know I haven't spent too much time here. The result of some of your generosity (the gardens look awesome, thanks!), some computer issues making me crazy, and the start of the school year. Good news is that I got a new computer, bad news is that it runs on Vista.

LOL about your rain. Ike collided with a cold front up here, ripped out trees, shut down electric and cable for close to two weeks and we still did not get a drop of rain. booo hooo

Sorry to hear about all your trauma, Chele...Are you getting things back to normal? Difficult to believe that you had all that happen and didn't get any rain...You're the one that's always

How's your 'growing season', lol!!!???

Growing season?? We are a bit crispy right now. LOL Hubby made me a big pile of mulch from all the downed branches.

We stay pretty wet from Nov-March or so and it seems to make up for the lack of rain the rest of the year.

You know me, we roll with the punches. ;)

Oh, THAT growing season. ha! I'm 15 weeks and look six months! All is well. I go on the 1st for my four month check up. I should get a level 2 sono in about a month and hope to find out what the little booger is (I know it's human-mean boy or girl). LOL I did however have a 3rd grader tell me it would be cool if I had a monkey or some other creature!

I keep joking it will be a little boy with curly blond hair and big blue eyes since none of my girls got mine! I'm betting on another girl though.

LOL The only thing I ever wish for is the right number of everything in the right place. :) I was kind of hoping for twins though as I don't like odd numbers.

Bev sure wished I had told you about Vista before you got it. I have spent megga bucks to get my compter from Raleigh up and running as I hate the new computer with vista. Now thought I have to go next door to use the good computer as it will not work on lan.
