Weight Loss Challange Sept. 26 - Oct. 4th

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

I'm doing this on Friday night as I will hopefully be leaving early in the morning. I have everything done but the crisp. It only needs the topping baked a little bit. But the bottom of the casserole still has ice on it so I can't put it in the oven. Or should I say I won't risk putting it in the oven. I know it is Pyrex.

Debbie, this is devestating news about your father. But as others have said, sometimes it does take a couple or three days for the effects of the anesthetic to wear off in an older person. But the doctor is right, if he doesn't eat, especially protein, the wound will not heal. We went thru this with Jack at the end. My heart aches for you and your family. So sorry about your doggie too. You don't need more stress.

Vic, I'd love to walk that mountain with you. I probably wouldn't be able to go all the way tho. My walking is limited. But I would so enjoy the companionship and scenery.

Ally, I pray your family does ok this weekend. It's hard when more than one person is sick. Especially when it is the caregiver.

Anna, the competition is just around the corner isn't it? Or is it later in Oct. or maybe even Nov.? I'm cheering for you.

Pebble, don't push yourself just because you feel good for one or 2 days. A relapse is worse than the first time around.

Susan, enjoy the weekend with your DH.

Must go and finish packing the van and my suitcase. See everyone later. GOD bless and keep each of you.
