I found three of these on my Myers lemon tree. Had notice the leaves being chewed up and some new baby lemons missing. He looked just like a stick, but when I moved the leaf he produced two very red fangs. He actually has a head and a face. He is crawling up the pot. Any help appreciated
Can you ID this snail
how about a closeup
Yikes! A snail with fangs? No idea, sorry. Can you get a closer pic?
Kill it.
Oh, I killed them ! I am having trouble with my zoom lens and that is as close as I was going to get. The funny thing about this thing, when the fangs went back in they went across his mouth and he looked like he had red lipstick on. The reason I thought it was a snail, is his belly was smooth. I actually found three and was going to use another camera this am but they were gone. I am praying the birds ate them. Since this is the only citrus tree I have, I was wondering if they are related to fruit trees. If I see anymore, I'll get a close-up.
