I have an idea what this is, but want unbiased opinions.
If you click the image to enlarge, you will see there are 3 shots. It's all the same bird as he posed for me.
Thanks,
Jen

CLOSED: Yellow bird
A young male Common Yellowthroat, Geothlypis trichas
Great thanks! I've never seen one before. He sure was cute and a bit curious. He didn't fly away from me. Just hopped around in my tomato patch.
Yep, Common Yellowthroat.

Your pics are terrific. I saw a female the other day, she jumped out of my back "jungle", chasing a moth....but as soon as she saw me she flew back into the thick brush to safety.
This little guy likes to hang out in my tomato patch. He hops around on the vines and the tomato supports as he nipped at bugs. He wasn't all that afraid of me. I was surprised actually. He seemed curious. This was the second time I saw him in my tomato patch. I've been on the lookout for him since that first time. I'm glad he came back.
