A very generous person gave me some incarnata root cuttings, which were doing fine until two tropical storms worth of rain soaked them. They were already 4 feet up the fence, and they're gone. I should have kept them in pots til the roots were better developed so I could better control their water.
Now, having said that - it's a terrible recommendation for me as a caretaker - but if anyone has root cuttings they could share with me, I'd be eternally grateful, ...and pay postage..and send you anything I have that you might want in return.
If not, does someone have a recommendation as to where I might be able to buy an incarnata?
(I'm in the Charleston, SC area.)
Thanks!
Deb
Anyone have Maypop/p. incarnata cuttings?
Deb, I can probably get you a few next week. send me a dmail and we will work something out. I am in Pawleys Island. Linda
Deb, if you ever get up this way, I have about 50 of them potted up and about another 50 growing in my pasture.
Wow! An abundance! Now I just have to figure out exacty where Campobello is. :) The zone indicates must be upstate. Thanks for that, DD.
North of Spartanburg, West of Charlotte, East of Greenville, South of Asheville.
Narrow it down for you? I'm about 5 miles from the NC border off of 26.
LOL! Thanks. I looked it up, but I love your directions! :)
Well, I've been here for 2 years and when I say it that way (typically to someone from the other side of the country) they've at least heard of one of those cities so it gives them half a clue. It's just become my "here's where I am". I grew up in Michigan so it's not like I can point to my hand anymore :-)
Nope! (Beautiful pic!)
Send me a d-mail with your addy, I got a couple starts I can share
