FYI: Oct 2008 - payment changes coming to eBay

At some point in October 2008, eBay is making it so that you cannot pay for purchases with check or money order. Here's the FAQ about it: http://pages.ebay.com/sell/August2008Update/OtherFAQ/#3 I know some people don't have or don't want a PayPal account, but it seems if they want to continue to purchase on eBay, they'll have to get one. There are a couple other options, but clearly eBay is pushing PayPal hard. To my knowledge, eBay owns PayPal, and this is another way to ensure they make as much money as possible.

I hope this will encourage some sellers to come to the DG Marketplace to sell their plants. If you have a relationship with an eBay seller, you might gently suggest (not demand! LOL) that they explore the idea. The DG Marketplace is really no different than eBay Buy-It-Now items, anyway.
