Grubs eating Brugs

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

Does anyone know of a remedy to get rid of grub worms? They have already caused major damage to several brugs & killing three smaller brugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Dollie, do you know whether the grubs are Japanese Beetle grubs? Milky Spore powder will kill those grubs. You would have to read the label to see if it kills all grubs.

Thanks Betty ! Your an angel for this information. I'm really worried about these critters in my garden dirt. Really don't know what type of grub this is, but I'll sure try the Milky Spore Powder. Where do I purchase this powder?

I noticed a few brugs wilting & getting limp. When digging the brugs up for inspection several white grubs were chewing on the roots! I hope this powder is something I can purchase in my town without having to wait for an online order to come in.

Dollie,
You may be able to find it at your local nursery. Yardlover.com sells it for $19.95

I looked them up in Garden WatchDog. They do have 1 negative. On the plus side, it sells the 10 oz container for $19.95 as apposed to other .coms who are selling it for $24.95 or $32.95 for the same sized container.

Veronica, thanks a million! About to go order now! I've never had a grub problem until this year. I swear I must have planted my brugs over a grub motel :)

Dollie, hope those grubs have a good headache or some kind of reaction like that... I need to write down Veronica's remedy for future reference (ty, Veronica)... I know sevin would get them, but I don't think it is as eco friendly as the MSP... Hope you get all the buggers..

I'm with you AuntB! Hope they get one big headache if they come within a mile of my brugs. I can't use Sevin because of my sm. butterfly habitat, and all the other little guys that come into my garden. Lol, wish Sevin could be used as it so inexpensive.
