Donations needed for Psychiatric Crisis Center

Bozeman, MT(Zone 4b)

I work for a crisis group home that provides a safe place for individuals that have attempted to kill themselves. Our budget is small and plants are out of the questtion. If you have any bulbs that can be planted this fall, we would happily take them. Our clients would benefit greatly from blooming bulbs next spring. Thanks so much for any and all help, Dee

Dee I do not have any at the moment, but when I do get some I will keep you in mind for sure! Such a worthy cause!!!! Bless you for organizing it!

Hi Dee, If you could send me some postage, I could send you a box of all kinds of bulbs. Let me know.

Dee,
If you want to plant anything indoors there, I could send you some butterfly ginger. I don't know how it would do outside there, coming up in the spring.

Thanks so much for your kind responses! Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Right now, we are focusing on the outdoors since time is limited. I'll email directly those of you who are able to fill our immediate needs. Thanks again! Dee

Dee - having run a psychiatric office for many years now...I'm delighted ya'll are doing this!! I know how much our patients enjoy the plants I fill the office with. If you have a place for a trellis and think to remind me next spring I'd be happy to send some Passifloras to you (May/June)...I don't think they'd have time to get acclimated prior to your cold hitting not to mention I'm unsure if they're hardy to your zone. They're gorgeous flowers with a pleasing scent.

Chantell,

Thank you for the offer. If your plant would survive here, it would be great to have the fragrance. I'll keep you in mind for spring.

Thanks much,
Dee
