Adobe's New Flash Player

Okay, everywhere I go says that I need to download the new Adobe Flash Player. So I did that and I installed it. It works fine on Internet Explorer but on Firefox it's not working. I made sure I downloaded the right one: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
and I had Firefox closed when I installed it. I rebooted the computer. I redownloaded and reinstalled it... nada. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
