A family of bees are living under the siding only a couple of yards away from the back door. I don't know what we can do to get rid of them. Can anybody please tell me if they will move away when the winter comes? Or do they overwinter in Maryland? Sorry the picture is not very sharp. They didn't want to pose for the shot :-)
Thanks.
will bees move away in winter?
The picture is a bit blurry but those look like yellow jackets to me.Wasp and hornet spray works well.
If it freezes donnerville your wasp colony will shut down. If you hang a brown paper bag (size of a lunch bag) from a string over the spot where they are early in the spring, they will move. They will think it is another colony.
