I posted this over in the pets forum as well. These poor animals will be put down if a place for them has not been found by today. I always hate hearing these stories and wish I could do more. I thought at least I could help get the word out.

Ike victims that need help
We took 4 into our rescue. I would have taken them all if I'd had a way. We just have all big dogs and it broke my heart to leave the little ones. I swear "one day a time" doesn't seem to help animals in need :(
I'm so glad you were able to help. It breaks my heart too. If I ever become rich (which will probably never happen) I will have a place big enough to take them all!
