Can anyone help ID this lovely plant?

(Zone 1)

There is non subscriber on the Plant & Tree ID forum who has a plant they need identified. It looks to be in the Aroid family to me but I'm really not sure. It's a lovely plant and the person they got it from told them it was Scindapus but it looks more like a Syngonium or Philo of some sort to me.

I hope someone can help. Here's the link to the forum with their photo: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/904428/

Thanks so much,

Lin,

I looked at the plant and I think is not an aroid. Of course, if I could see a close-up of the growing points, I would then be certain. I've never seen a Scindapsus or Syngonium with variegation of that type. I've seen that vine before but can't tell you which plant it is.

Thanks for taking a look LariAnn! Whatever it is, it sure is a pretty plant. My first thought was some new Syngonium. I have one that has white splotches in the foliage and I thought maybe that was one I had not seen before. I love variegated foliage so that photo just caught my eye right away. I hope she can find a correct ID on her plant, whatever it is.

Are the vines on the floor from the same plant? The upright growth and leaf shape looks similar to dieffenbachia but the vines might throw everything off.

I think that's why I was leaning towards a Syngonium ... it looked like a vine growing off to the side there.

I have not seen this plant before but off hand I figure it was a Epipremnum. It still maybe but if so it is a new form I have not yet seen. Their is a white variegated form that is commonly grown but the variegation is all over not as well defined as it is in this plant.
