Remove the cat from the center of the bed.
Remove the bedspread.
Remove the cat from the center of the bed.
Remove the blanket.

Remove the cat from the pile on the floor and throw (minus the cat) the sheets in the laundry.

Put the bottom sheet on the bed.
Remove the lump from under the sheet.
Put the top sheet on the bed.
Remove the lump from under the sheet.
Put the blanket on the bed.
Remove the lump from under the blanket.
Put the bedspread on the bed.
Leave the lump under the bedspread.
