I see on this forum that some have had a problem with there doors on a Rion GH. We had winds rip through here that were left over from Ike at 80 mi/hr and the GH never budged. I have made some modifications to my Rion you may be interested in and have included a link to my journal.

Rion Door Modification
John, thanks for the tips. After 3 years I still haven't installed the automatic window openers on my Rion. My experience with a previous (not a Rion) greenhouse, was that the windows didn't close fast enough when a storm approached and the little hydraulics didn't hold and broke. Have you had any problems with Rion's openers? I would like to install them, but out here in the boonies the wind can be a problem. So far I've used bungie (sp?) cords on the window levers to keep them closed tight and when the windows are open, to keep them from becoming unlatched. Do you trust them to work properly? I don't want to lose any vent windows, it's bad enough when the wind takes out a side panel.
