HURRICANE IKE CAN'T BEAT DOWN CAST IRON COOKING!!!

I survived Hurricane Ike. I have NO power, but I have a generator and a hotplate. AND I HAVE CAST IRON!!! Guess who cooked shrimp scampi for the neighbors in her Cast Iron Dutch Oven? Cooking on a hot plate is tricky enough. But using the CI skillets and the oven takes the guesswork out of the equation, because the CI conducts the heat sooooooooooo evenly.
