The ugly flower spikes have the seeds.

Philadelphia, PA(Zone 6b)

I wish I knew what the seeds looked like, since I've always pinched them back. Dign is correct...they are in those flower stalks somewhere. Maybe if you just clip the entire head when it is almost dying, then let it dry..I'd be happy to trade for the entire seed stalk and fallen chaff.

Parks has a beautiful new coleus that is the richest deep purple I've ever seen...called Giant Exhibition Palisandra (Coleus x blumei)...an heirloom in burgundy maroon color...wow!`I'm ordering this seed because I don't think anyone would have this variety, however, I'm happy to get any other coleus seed for trade :) Thanks :)

Hi, I have some! Mine are about 4 feet tall, right now, and are amazing me to no end, lol. They were listed as 18" on the pack. The seeds are easy to get, just let them flower, wait until the tiny blue flowers drop off the stems and cut the whole flower stem. Lay that on a piece of newspapaer to dry, and when it is nice and crispy shake out the seeds. Coleus seeds are tiny, and I haven't found a way to get the chaff out, but it doesn't really hurt anything.
I'd love to trade for some morning glories for my little girl's garden! Drop me a note if you want to trade. Thanks and happy gardening,
