Oct. 23 gala event at the Miller Library

I'm getting tickets to the Oct 23, event Dan Hinckly will be talking at the event. If you are a member of the P N W Alliance. the tickets are free. I joined last spring so I could get cheap seeds that members package and sell for $1. you get to see a lot of private gardens in the spring and summer. that are otherwise closed to the public. in 09 they are including Port Orchard on the schedule, guess what? I'm on the tour. ( panic time!!!! ) I'm doing a lot this year. my trails are level, and I have stairs in 6 place. for the ones from Daves Garden that came last year. will be glad to know. and I have cleared another acre. for all my 05, 06, 07 hosta hybrids. and other plant material. also I have aquired the use of the 20 to 30 feet of my neighbors. and have planted some good size plant material. oh! and a few more brown squirrels. they police the area every morning, then I pay them off with black oil sunflower seeds. your place should be there. I so love it.
When I get to retire, I want to have something like a small scale Dragonfly (Heidi's) a Few more years to go.

Mary, the reception is at Meany hall. on the 23, Oct. it should be a lot of fun. I think I'm going to invite my gardener. I have been working with him all spring and summer. to go along with me and my friend Anita. she's asking for 2 tickets, I asked for 2 tickets. there are a lot of people from the Port Orchard, Gig Harbor area, that I know, who are going. Your talking about the Northwest Perennial Alliance correct? I'm a member as well and I have not recieved any information about the event and I cannot find anything about it on the website? Am I missing something or am I thinking of the wrong group?

Rach, I had this wrong. it's at meany hall, and PNWAlliance go free, you have to send for tickets. just call for the number of tickets that you want. Jim King
