So... why did you want to see a picture of it... what's very common on mine is the inner trumpet... which is more like a shredded brug... stuffed tightly insidethe outertrumpet.. it's a wonder stuffed in the way it is it ever has enough space to descend.. Gordon

Yes.. brenda.. it's just that way.. earlier..after the first buds that drop.. I get the stuffed trumpets... as the flowering goes on.. they start to behave better.. and distend below the outer trumpet .. perhaps if there's alot of rain they beef up and again have that backed up display...
OH.. James... my pictutres aren't of the HDW..although I was thinking about it that way...it's a seedling.. a HDW X LaAmore..sorry...

Here's another possibility: Alice Harris, Abutilon, is listed as a vendor in the PlantScouts. She doesn't have HDW listed for sale in her nursery, but may have a photo you may use and the good thing is there wouldn't be a conflict of interest. Alice is a DG member
