My senior cat Patches is, well, senile. I found him in '92, he was a few years old then I think.

He's been getting lost in the house, peeing on anything soft...shoes, cat beds, socks, etc. If I catch him while he's wandering and take him to the litter box he'll use it, I have put a litter box downstairs here for him as well. He wants to use the litter, but gets lost trying to find it and just settles for using whatever.

I'm thinking it's time for that final trip to the vets...DH, softie that he is, seems to think we could get a kennel of some sort for him to live in. Bedding, litter, food and water in the kennel and he comes out only under supervision.

My question for you, do you think a kennel is a suitable life for an old cat??
