I have a little yellow flower that is taking over my bulb garden. Does anybody know, If I use preermergent on my garden and plant bulbs, will it affect the bulbs?
Preermergent

what kinds of bulbs are you growing? I have quite a few!!
Thank you for the welcome neighbor. I am so excited to join Dave's garden especially since it is planting season here in AZ. I have Tulips, Hyacinths, Daffodils, Iris, Ranunculus and Alliums, Sometimes Lilies.
My garden is split into four sections. Two of the sections are for reseeding plants such as Poppies and Larkspur. The other two are for Foxgloves, Delphiniums, Snap Dragons and Petunias. (or anything else that will bloom) ;-). I even have a clematis vine growing.
I don’t know what these little yellow flowers are (see to the right side). They have very lacy foliage and little pom pom heads (no petals). They are cute but in the wrong section. I also have some grass that comes up in the same section. That is why I though maybe I could put some preemergent down so that they do not over take the bulbs, but am not sure what that will do to the bulbs.
I gorw lilies, crinums and just about anything else that I can that resembles a bulb, rhizome or corm! I also grow clematis and could not even tell you how many I have!! I am a vine nut too. I think those are a weed if they are what i think they are. I had some this past spring growing on my property and left them cause I like those little pom-poms. I also saw them about by the river while taking a walk. I do not think a preemergent would harm the bulbs but you could always just pull them out before they set seed.
