Hi bonitin, this one is actually a male Sphaerophoria scripta, they look quite different to the female so can easily be confused!

Oh, I see that's right! The males of Sphaerophoria rueppelli and Sphaerophoria scripta have a lot in common but S.scripta matches exactly mine, thanks wallaby! I'll report the error.
