There are a few arms of a very curly leaved Hoya mixed in with another. I've tried to focus on the curly leaved one. The tag said Hoya "rope"
I have had it a few years and apparently repotted them together a few years ago. the pot is very full of roots. In winter it (they) live in my bathroom at the North window. The curly one has not bloomed yet for me.
This pic actually shows both of my Hoyas:
left = the leaves are green w/ white edge and flat (er not curly)
right = the curly green leaf one

Can You Identify This Hoya , please??
I think it looks like H. compacta. At first i thought the cultivar Krinkle 8 but I am sure H. compacta....nice plant. BTW it is related to H. carnosa so likes to grow cool, shady and dry.
Well, since they are related I guess it is OK to have a H. carnosa & H. compacta in the same pot! They have gotten along together for at least 3 or 4 years. The carnosa being about 7 -8 years old. I do not remember when I put them together. Since they like being root bound and dry...when should I repot them? LOL - I think that old plastic pot may be spliting near the top, so I;ll have to. Should I try to separatee these 2 when I do? Whether sepatated or not,..when repotting an old plant like this, root bound and all.......do the roots need to be sepatated a little? It is already in a large hanging pot, so I don't think I can go up in size.....anyway, I just don't want to mess up a good thing when repotting.....maybe I just need to add some soil to the top, like someone mentioned in another thread.......
LOL until these last few hours and reading what you people have taught me, I did not know what it was, nor what it needed, so I just tried to "Keep it alive" and have been rewarded with beautiful blooms....more the last 2 summers than this one, though.
Well, I did know that it was a "hoya", but did not know anything about Hoyas. Do they enjoy a moss stalk, like Philodendrons are sometimes grown on.?
Yes...they love things to climb...I have a H. compacta growing on a palm tree.
When you repot it, just put it in a sturdy pot...you don't have to worry about crowding the roots...I grew one in the same pot for 18 years!!! Just make sure when it is watered that it sits in the water for a while and keep pouring water on it so that it penetrates ALL the roots.....
Good luck!
