More pictures please. And what do you do with all that stuff in the winter? What are all your houses made of?

How pretty, wow!

Thank you for such nice compliments! I have posted some closer views and I will post more. Most of the houses are made of some kind of resin?? They have been out all year in below freezing winters and 90 degree summers in NY for 3 years now. So far so good. I have had to do some touch up painting. I did paint a metal house this summer so I do not know how that will survive the winter. Anything made of wood (no matter how many coats of UV protector I've put on them) does not last at all! I only take the gnome figures in before the snow season and they need to be repainted over the winter. Thanks, Donna

Your miniature village is adorable.
You must have a lot of hours put into building it.
Thank for sharing the pics.

Do you give out the source for the houses?

I got the first houses from a store called "The Christmas Tree Shop" which is like a closeout store. They were only $12.99 and $6.99. Can you imagine?? What a find! Dopey me only bought a few, but at the time I had no idea of what I was going to do with them. When I went back there were no more. The Church, Pub and one small house I got from the Toscano catalog for a lot more money. Sadly. And another small house came from "Plow and Hearth" catalog, also a lot of money. Those are all some sort of resin. And the pink house was a black metal halloween decoration that I found at Marshalls and painted. I am always looking, it is a hard scale to find in any material other than wood, which does not hold up outside. I'll keep you posted. Donna
