I have 2 computers that need ram and ordered it for just 1 since I cannot afford both at this time. They both have 2 slots now with only 1 512 mb card. When I upgrade the first machine I will be removing the 512 mb card in it. What I want to do is add that removed card to the second slot of the other computer so that it will have 2 cards with 512mb each.
The question is will the cards be compatable? This is the info I get from crucial.com. I ordered the new memory for the one at the top and want to use the original 512 card from it in the lower one if it can be used.
