Someone sent a single tall sedum in with Autumn Joy and I love it. It's mostly white with some green. I love it. It's currently 6 inches tall so no idea how tall it gets but it's like Autumn Joy.
Will trade of do postage

Wanted: white/verigated stonecrop sedum
It might also be 'Pink Chablis' which is has variegated foliage but pink blooms.
I have two plants and I do like them but the variegation is very unstable and it tends to revert easily. Also not as vigorous as many sedums.

mine is stardust, it's varigation sure looks stable. though when i looked it up on plant files the one the have pics of does not look varigated at all nor does it mention it. Though I have learned you can:t rely on the plantfiles for acurate infro all the time. At any rate it says Stardust on the label.
I have a green/white varigated stonecrop ( the short ones like dragon's blood, voodoo etc.) that I bought off a coop, it was not labeled, neither were the hens or chicks or other sedums. So I have no clue as to what it is,But it survive the summer looking very good.
Thanks zinnia for the name. I need to find someone who wants to trade.
I'll ck the plant files but I know what you mean about the info. For one, many cameras and postings vary greatly in color, like red often looks orangish red. I need something no taller than sedum for a shady spot, actually one that gets dabbled sun, but is a 'darker' area that needs white. I have creeping Jenny in that area which is a great help and it's by the waterfall, just want some white to go beyond the Jenny.
I would love some. What can I send you? Name a list of things and I'm sure I have something to share - plant or seed
Sure - but I would be glad to send you postage, cosmo or cleome seeds, plants -

Do you want a low growing varigated sedum, Kathy? I have one but no name. If interested, I'll get a photo.
That's cute; mine is probably "tricolor"
Actually, the plan has taken another turn...I'm looking into going back to CO, where I would not be growing glads. Not enough water.
I have some similar to the ones in shihtzumom's picture, but they look more yellow, could be because they are in the shade though. They are fairly tall, at least 18 inches or so.
This one came in a bag of goodies from another trade of sedum. I would need to search out who I traded recently with. This one is white, no yellow at all.
Laura - girl you were coming th NC now CO? As long as you move and get away from that area you will find happiness.
Hey Neighbor!!! I received two of a couple of different ones that have no names from a trade. They are supposed to be cold tolerant for our area. Stop at the end of the road...tell me when...and I will give them to you!! I have a very large bag of the sedums that I pulled out of the garden. They are in a jumble right now, if you want those too.

Hey Debbie,
I can stop tomorrow - Tuesday if that works for you. I probably saw it to late for me to meet you today. 6100 is my work number
That is fine!!! what time? 5:15 again?
OH!!! I have gotten some variegated sedum from ebay. It hasn't come in yet, but if there is enough, I will give you some of that too!!!
Deb
Don't worry about the variegated sedum. I will be there about 5:15 - 5:20 now that students are back it takes longer to get off campus.
estrail1rider, could you pull out a few of the sedum out of your disposable pile and add to my box before mailing? (lol)
velma
velmansia...sure!!! I threw them on the gravel in the path and they are already taking root there!
shihtzumom...so sorry!!! Jack came a bit early and I completely forgot. please pick any other time!!! I am exchanging a white weeping cherry at Lowes in Radford in a few minutes...have to get the garden dirt off me first...for the pink that I could not get in Princeton!! Had been looking all over for a pink but they just were not available when I got the white one. Will be home before you off work.
Anyone else have variegated sedum? Will trade!
Deb
Thanks zinnia - what do I owe you??????
THANK YOU my friend.
