For you Sheltie lovers!
Harley came into our Sheltie Rescue care yesterday - he came from about 5 hrs drive north of me and somebody else did most of the drive there and back and I picked him up last evening from about an hour north of me. He was pretty dirty and smelly and sure needed a groom so this morning the lady who will foster him and I spent about 2 hours cleaning him up. He had mats the size of eggs behind his ears! By the time we finished he was looking pretty spiffy. He is not quite 2 years old and unusual coloring - he has a blue merle head but the body is about 3/4 white so we think he is what is called a Color Headed White. Doesn't know any commands but super friendly. We may already have a home for him - a lady who does agility and is looking for a smaller dog to work with.
