Great plans! I think you may need to special order (on-line) some of the parts. Here I found that OSH and Lowe's carry a slightly different assortment of parts and connectors. But there is always some way to work it out. Maybe a plumbing supply place would have more pieces available?

Me & Ed are going nutz gathering stuff for their home.. Oh Catscan.. they are such a hit.. He loves them too!!! Everyone said I grew my chicks overnight.. LOL I had 6 tiny chicks and today I have 3 HUGE ones! LOL
I am setting up a mister for them right now.. it's just too hot..
I am going to order some parts later.. I'm just frantic to make sure the boys are comfy first..
Thank you so much for taking them and taking such good are of them. Fortunately it is suppose to cool down this week. Maybe you could put in a couple of cardboard boxes for them to hide from the sun in?
My yard seems so empty without them--they are such sweet birds. Tf did good.
I just went out and rearranged everything.. I put the shade cloth on the entire cage.. and the wet painter's cloth doubled to provide complete shade in the corner, but still let the breeze blow through. Then I put the mister on so it would hit the entire back corner.. when a breeze comes through.. it's nice and fresh.. There is almost always a breeze..
They are active and not panting nearly as much now.. it's cooler in there than under the shade canopy I have!
LOL Ed said..... get an extension cord... we will run a fan.. LOL He is still hanging out at the fence, pretending to be busy..

they REALLY love water, rain, spriklers, hose-downs, puddles. soemtimes i think they are half ducks./.. [me and my unsupervised breeding program LOL]
Did somebody say Brugmansia??? I have one and it's about twelve feet tall and just starting to bloom it's rich Butter yellow. I have a pink one that will be blooming soon LOVE EM!! LOVE EM!! LOVE EM!!
I used to love brugs.. till I grew too many like 3 years in a row. I only have about 30 left I think.. LOL It's still too hot for us to get nice blooms.. they are either deformed or don't last at all.
I do love the smell though.. I'll never loose that.
This one is probably more elaborate than you really need. All you really need it to make a cube from PVC pipe in the dimensions you prefer. Just be sure that the larger the pen is, the larger the pipe diameter you use.

It's hard to grow angel Trumpets as we call them here our Ga. red clay is a booger to work with and i only have three. I had to dig out all the clay in the holes i put them in and replaced it with rich soil i couldn't do that 30 times {Oh My Back} But Yes the smell is pure heaven.

Here is my simplest pvc chicken tractor. Being smaller it is very solid. I am planning to use them both to confine the chickens and to protect the veggies. Sometimes over the chickens--sometimes over the lettuce.

I'm building another tractor.. Not as big and elaborate as the one in the plans. I'm happy with the way it's coming out. I am putting a door on it, Cody can thank me next time he wants to go in. LOL
