I'm missing Makshi's quick wit and fun comments here and was just wondering if anyone has been in touch with her recently??
The last post I remember reading from her mentioned that she was feeling quite poorly, I do hope she is well.
I think of her each time I look at the cute little hen and chicks I have growing in my kitchen window that came from her!

Has Anyone heard from Makshi lately??
I sent her a d-mailed last week but haven't heard back from her.Sure hope everythings ok.
Haven't seen her around either ; ( Sure hope she is ok!!
I just stopped in and saw this post. It is so nice to see I am missed. This has made my day. I am not feeling well at all so don't get on the comp. much. I can barely keep up with taking care of myself and my poor sick dog. I will stop in later with a picture I hope of the blooming strep. that Brenda sent me as a baby. I believe it is Inky Fingers.
Makshi:
I am so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well and that you have a sick pup as well. It is so hard when we aren't feeling so good but it sure complicates matters when you have a sick child or pet too.
We have 4 elderly cats and last week spent over $300 with one of them at the emergency vet and our regular vet. I might end up having to take her back to the vet again this afternoon as she was throwing up during the night and again a few times today. It sure is hard when they get to the stage where they begin to fail healthwise.
My DH and I feel so blessed that our health is very good and neither of us are on any medications whatsoever. I do take the random advil for a headache or my arthritis pain once in awhile but one of our cats is on 3 different medications every day! It's hard because she is my favorite of any pet we've ever had in our household, just the sweetest disposition and so loving. Most cats are very independent and are loners ... this one just loves her people.
I hope you get to feeling better soon, Diane and I wish your little dog well too. We do miss you around the garden but it is understandable when you don't feel well and don't feel up to playing on the computer.

Sorry your feeling so poorly Diane! But I was happy to see you post and to know that your around the Garden a bit anyway!
And I'm happy that one of the streps is blooming for you! Flowers always brighten a day no matter what!

Diane,
Sure hope you get to feeling better soon, and your little dog, too. It is so hard when our pets don't feel well since they can't tell us the problem. I have one that hopefully I can get in to see the vet tomorrow. Please stay in touch.
