Cross Spider (Araneus diadematus)
What a wonderful photo - that's a beauty kniphofia!
In your Maine garden? Have you moved from the UK? Or have you 2 homes? Or have I gone bananas LOL?

Yes Hilary I moved back home to the UK a year ago. I'd lived in Maine for 10 years. I'm really loving being home in Northumberland :)
Thanks for the kind comments!
Sue
Oh that's great Sue. Yes, Northumberland is a lovely county. I've heard that Maine is very good too - with wonderful colour in the autumn?
Oh wow, what a beautiful place!
We got down to -15C for a few days here in SW France a couple of years ago. Very different from it going on for weeks of course, but the olive tree didn't like it at all and dropped all its leaves. Fortunately it's now back to normal :)
