I usually hang out in the Midsouth forum, but I was curious if anyone over here had heard from PaulofAL lately? It appears he has not posted to DG in quite some time, and his personal blog on his website has not been updated since early July...... We were just wondering what had happened or if he had possibly had some medical problems..

Yes, his DW had posted a few times, then I haven't seen anything from either lately. I will go look on the emergency contact thread and see if he had posted there.

I had it on my mind and this weekend, I dmailed as well as leaving a message on blog. Am wondering and a little concerned... Anyone?
I googled and have his home address and phone number if anyone wants me to d-mail them the info. I did not communicate enough with him to feel comfortable calling and inquiring. (He posted his full name on his blog along with the name of the town he lives in.)
It would be nice if he is M I A because of a long vacation!
Yes, I received an email from him last month...said he ahd DW were remodeling the house, and he just hadn't been in a writing frame of mind lately...will check in this fall...

But we don't just like him for his writing! LOL! I miss being on DG and can't be away long myself.
I just got off the phone with PaulfromAL and he and his wife are both doing fine. He has been busy remodeling and has not had time to write stories or post. I let him know that there have been several people on DG that have been concerned about his sudden disappearance and he was very thankful for everyone's concern.
Just wanted to let everyone know that he is doing fine...............

I sent an email as well as a dmail a week or so ago - got the same answer that y'all did. They are aware of being missed, so we should see something from him soon.
Got an email from Paul yesterday. Appreciates the fact that we are all asking about them. Been bogged down in house renovations. Will probably write his next essay about the trials and tribulations of such.
